    I’m not in that instance, but the focus on drag’s identity and calling it absurd fantasy roleplay is just malicious. No wonder trans people need spaces with rules like that with people like y’all around.

      It’s funny how you can take any statement and make it seem like they’re attacking you so you don’t have to consider what anyone says.

            Never believe they’re completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.

              Yeah, trans people forming online communities where you’re required to use people’s preferred pronouns if you want to participate is exactly like the Nazis and antisemitism 🙄
