Disney Lorcana doesn’t have a digital version - outside the fan-created Pixelborn - and that is a genuine shame. Mobile versions of TCGs especially tend to do extremely well from both a commercial standpoint and as a streamlined onboarding process for new players. A free-to-play version of an already extremely expensive hobby allows those who aren’t willing to splash a lot of cash on a TCG they may not like to give it a try.
Not a mobile version, but apart from pixelborn, there’s also inktable (https://www.inktable.net/)
Very cool, thanks for sharing! Looks like it’s also got Flesh & Blood, Star Wars Unlimited, and Ashes Reborn.
I’m at the point where I want to try a whole bunch of card games and figure out what my favorite is. I really don’t have anyone to play with at the moment though. So this a great find for me. =)
Yep, I prefer single player versions of things, particularly for testing decks, so it’s an amazing resource.
I can’t stand mobile ccg, for some reason they all make the mistake of having the text the same size and look as in the physical cards which, even on a tablet, means way too small text for a screen. It makes it so I can’t play for longer than half an hour or so without headache inducing eye strain. Only a couple digital-only CCG have good design and are tolerable. That is the biggest error any CCG can make, make their game uncomfortable to play, like those early pokemon cards that featured thin black text over gray and orange cards. Completely unreadable.
Lorcana has been good with using keywords out of the gate. Just testing the Lorcana sim quickly, it has a feature to mouse over cards to enlarge them. It seems okay. I haven’t tried it at length though.
