Be skeptical of any research that shows the health risks / benefits of a behavior that can also be correlated to wealth.

I think about this a lot.
Like that study that showed a link between good health and having a horse.
Bet mercedes works too.
Don’t forget eating lots of ice cream correlates with higher levels of vitamin D.
Ah cuz sun, warm climates!
Is it a coincidence that one of the oldest rules we have is “Take a goddamn break once a week”?
I’ve tried and it is actually called depression and was not fun
It’s pretty good for 1-2 weeks depending on context. I take about 10 days off in spring with family to decompress after about 6 months of winter and work’s usual BS. It’s glorious.
yeah was going to say. I do not endorse this.
It sounds amazing in theory. It’s not working out well for me.
If nothing else, try to not forget the stupid walks for the stupid mental health.
I kept a drinking habit during covid while i didnt work. Every few days id walk a couple miles to the gas station and buy beer to then carry home. I got my walks in then could go to sleep after a few beers.
CEOs reading that: “Everyone, get ready for 6 days of work per week!”
That’s already happening.

Look, even good things in excess become negatives. We should have five lazy days and then have two non-lazy days when the week ends.
I feel like I’m incapable of doing anything and am an utter failure of a human being. Doing nothing all the time is best to be avoided, take my word for it
Doing things takes energy. We must conserve energy to save the environment. So being lazy is therefore good for the environment by transitive property.
