This is an attempt to demonize one of the most powerful ways to hold governments and the corporations they regulate accountable.
As soon as I read the title I thought “that sounds like something a shady politician would make a talking point in preparation to try and get rid of FOIA so they can do even more shady shit…”
“Would you declassify the 9/11 files?”
“Yeah.”
"Would you declassify the JFK files?
“Yeah, I did a lot of it.”
“Would you declassify the epstein files?”
“…Yeah… yeah… I would… I guess… that less so… because you don’t want to affect people’s lives if there’s phony stuff in there… because you know… you don’t know… there’s a lot of phony stuff in that whole world…”
