I’ve heard the argument of “dozens of wild hogs” in relation to firearms so many times, I thought it was going to end with some kind of quip about “high-capacity magazines”

But you might be on to something here.

Can we look into limited release programs for wild hogs onto billionaires properties? all of them?

Some rich dude brought hogs to California that mated with some local pigs and now we have this hybrid menace eating all our food. So I’m not sure it will exactly help anyone in the long run if we start spreading even more hogs

Did you know that wild hogs are so famously insane that people hunting them had to put crossbars on their spears to prevent them from further impaling themselves just to gore the human

      yea hogs are unhinged creatures

iirc a pig will revert to hog form if left in the wilderness

It’s not that an individual pig will revert to a wild hog, but the genes we selected for in domesticated pigs are so recessive, that it only takes about 3 generations to get from domesticated to wild hog. And considering their gestational period is around 4 months, and it only takes about 6 months for them to be fully grown… 3 generations can happen pretty quickly.

I remember reading that a domestic pig that escapes into the wilderness will begin growing hair and tusks quickly. Is this not true?

Juniors will look at you like you’re killing their puppy when explaining to them that their solution does work, but why it will cause production issues in a year so adjustments are needed.
