    (well actually i was told im too depressed so maybe i was too trans for hormones)

    If you’re in a place without informed consent and outdated science like the UK, lie. Look up what they want to hear and exaggerate your experiences to fit their mold. Like with all lies, it’s best to err on the side of truth, but when they design a system that can deny care based on their ideas of gender, it’s ultimately what trans people need to do. People shouldn’t be required to prove their identity to the state, only that they know what the hormones will do and want those effects.

    If you live somewhere like the US, we currently have a system that allows us to give informed consent. Your insurance might not cover it and there could be medical holds, but at least the government doesn’t gatekeep our identities right now.
