Stuffing people into overcrowded and deadly jails isn’t cost-effective, humane, or sustainable.

          Yeah to be clear I don’t think it would good, but the article was saying to either do the proposed UBI or make the stores pay for the cops.

            I appreciate your clarification.

            I’m pretty sure we all know which option would be chosen, unfortunately, and it’s not the way that would actually help people.
