    🤔 Umm… Could someone please explain this? I have no idea what this has to do with gender, or actually what folk punk is, I assume it’s like a mix of folk and punk music but I still don’t really know what that has to do with gender.

      There was a YouTuber called Syrmor that did a video series called people of VR chat that had an individual that was a tall bird and talked about being a homeless teen and played concerts of folk punk music on an acoustic guitar, they eventually came out as trans.

        Naw naw. This is absolutely more of an inexplicably universal experience for thing. Personally I think it has something to do with seeing ourselves in the vocal style.

    If we’re talking folk punk, The O’Reillys and the Paddyhats just released an awesome song called Wake The Rebels and it has an awesome positive message

    honestly tho, folk punk got me through some of my darkest days, and I still listen to it every so often. good stuff.
