    I do not have the free time nor the maturity to handle this release at this point in my life.

    Well, it is what it is. Guess I’ll have to buy the game and get addicted again.

      I’m right there with you. Hopefully mobile for 2 is better suited for phones, makes it easier to find the time. The first one is designed for tablets and makes reading and playing cards difficult.

    They’ve migrated to the Godot game engine now, haven’t they? I’m excited to see how they’ve got on with it. I wish they’d to a conference talk about it.

    Very excited about this! The new character looks really cool too!

    The Steam page also has some gameplay screenshots. It looks surprisingly similar to the first game, but as long as there’s enough new stuff I don’t mind.

      Yeah I loved playing the first one! Hopefully there’s enough innovation to warrant a full sequel rather than just new content with essentially the same mechanics. Here’s hoping!

    I don’t have actual stats on this but I’m fairly certain I’ve put more hours into Slay the Spire than any other game in my life across its various platforms. Pretty psyched for this one

      If that was possible we wouldn’t have public education, we’d just sleep for the first 20-30 years of our lives so we could work weeks long shifts at McD’s.

    HELL YEAH! I hope they have a simultaneous release on all platforms too. I prefer a mobile version now a days. I bought the original for PC, switch, PS4 and mobile! Such an amazing game!

    I was hoping they’d been working on a different type of game; I’ll still try this but I think I may be a bit tired of the formula. Hoping it is different enough!
