Its because its the only solution I have found to have hashtags (i want to display portfolio with add themes), blog, and possibly in the future, a shop.

Yes if you want a shop, a static website do not work. But you actually can have hashtag with hugo. For example: https://based.cooking/
Anyway, in France we have this: https://www.chatons.org/search/near-me I do not know if it exists outside of France
