Combined with the 2019 election being mostly about brexit and Corbyn being in an impossible position of trying to unite a party that was deeply split on the issue. meant he had his “historic” loss. And even then he still got 10,000,000 votes compared to Johnsons 14,000,000 so it really wasnt even as big of a blowout as the media pushed it as.
