The article only proves him right if you failed to read it.
In 1991, when he was president of the student body at Bowling Green State University, he was quoted by two students in an article for the school newspaper saying, “I’m homophobic, I admit it, I have a problem with it.”
This was amidst a controversy where he was alleged to have discriminated against a candidate for the student senate for his sexual orientation.
His defense of this amounts to “it was just a joke bro. Also fringe minorities cry about discrimination too much.”
It’s not persecution when people don’t elect you for behaving like a bigoted little shit.
I guess? I was homophobic as hell back in high school, but I’m now a firm supporter of LGBT+ rights. But I suppose this guy isn’t claiming to have changed.
just as you’re skewing this entire conversation because you were too fucking dumb to read the article. goddamn this whole thread is a fantastic example of conservatives just being too fucking dumb to participate in debate.

Dude literally admits he said it. What even is this, lmao.
For context, the guy you are responding to thinks Donald was wrongfully convicted.

So we shouldn’t believe you when you say he’s being persecuted? Cool, makes sense.
