This magpie was a very good model. They complied with all of my posing requests to give this wonderful golden hour shot :)

Great photo! It looks like you were able to get pretty close to it. Was that the case or did you just have a really long lens?
The bird was maybe 4 meters up from the path I was on?
Ah, that wouldn’t explain the angle a little. Birding is intriguing to me, but I don’t have the time to get close and don’t have a long enough lens to compensate with reach.
