No. “Centrist” is not insulting to me. Because even as a leftist I can and do regularly work with and discuss things with centrists all the time. They can be as rational and reasonable as anyone else when they’re being sincere.

Wut? Centrists define their politics around triangulating between the two parties, without regard to how one is diving headlong into fascism. I can believe a self-described leftist passionately defending moderate Democrats, but no, centrists are scum basically by definition, because their politics are half-defined by worse scum.
