Ariel Helwani: If Nick Khan wasn’t CEO of WWE right now would you be back? CM Punk: No, I don’t think so. Punk says that even before Nick Khan was officially with WWE, he was trying to get Punk back into WWE circa 2019.

maybe it’s just me but i’m actually terrified for aj lee given everything we’ve seen of punk these past few years.
I mean, the man is made of paper and matchsticks, he’s not been on the winning side of any shoot fight on record, I wouldn’t worry.
And tbqh I’ve seen pics of the shape AJ is in.
I won’t sit here and think Punk is at home committing domestic abuse or anything just because he’s a narcissistic asshole in the wrestling business, but if Punk put a hand on AJ (short of something lethal) I’m genuinely putting my money on her beating him like a red-headed stepchild. Beating him like a government mule.
Unironically, that’s the best reason to believe the man is not abusing her.
I am genuinely not convinced he could physically pull it off.
Plus, in fairness to the guy, he’s not psychotic, he’s a macho idiot obsessed with perceived disrespect who pretends to be a progressive anti-establisment icon.
