The higher up I go, the more I ask why. And the more often “eh, I guess next release will be fine” is the answer.
There is a rule, meetings will take up as much time as there is, so if you don’t put a cap on it, it will be hours not 30 minuets.
The same rule applies to work schedule planning, you will work weekends unless you plan not to.
And you will raise respect of you when you just say no you have already promised the time to the misses or someone else of importance.
