I might expand on a short Fire Emblem fic I wrote in a rush last weekend. I’m in the mood for some deep friendship fic and I have some inspiration.
What about all of you?

Ogods it’s Friday. Where has my week been? (No, alright, I know where my week has been. Having to adapt to someone else’s schedule plus lack of sleep. Am tired.)
I finished and posted the prompted fic I mentioned last time, so now I’m between fics. I have lots of WIPs, ideas and prompts I want to get to at some point, but for now I’ll focus on the only video game I play. I mean, given the amount of narration, that’s reading. Right? ^^ So yeah, new chapter dropped yesterday, with parts 2 and 3 in the next two weeks, and I’m trying to not wait too much to play it all because this is a total spoiler minefield situation and I don’t like having to shield from the whole internet x’) So that’s what I’m reading now I guess. Meaning more fanfic fuel given I’m writing a lot in this fandom lately =3
Hopefully the next weeks will be calmer and I’ll be able to both play and write… if not I’ll see you in December for writing I guess x’D
Haha…ah yes… the no sleep. I hope it improves soon. Schedule changes are always rough too.
I think video games count as reading. :)
Fire Emblem is a game series after all, and the fic fuel is STRONG in most of those games.
Thank you ♥
And yeah video games can be such an inspiration… but some games are still more talkative than others ^^ There’s quite a variation between, say, a Fallen London or Disco Elysium and at the other extreme a Tetris or Space invaders xD I’d have a hard time calling some games “reading”, which doesn’t have anything to do with either 1. their quality nor 2. the inspiration they can give =3
That’s true. I think Disco Elysium could rival some novels.
There is almost certainly some form of Tetris fanfic out there. I don’t know why or how, but it just seems like someone has to have done it, even if only as a crack fic.
I 300% agree. I was thinking exactly this as I was typing my previous message xDDD
The unstated but universally acknowledged laws of the internet XD
