    I don’t know shit about healthcare and even I go mad listening to people’s bs. I’m probably not much better myself, but I at least don’t go around talking about the benefits of vitamin megadoses and such.

      Eh, for me it’s the “common knowledge things” that people think are right. Tetanus isn’t caused by rusty metal and there’s nothing wrong with falling asleep if you’re conscussed if you’ve already got medical attention.

      I’m grateful I’m only ankle deep in the medical world, I’m sure there’s plenty I “know” that is wrong.

        Fair enough, and to be honest, these examples were things that I thought had some grounding in reality. But of course, I was never sure and when shit happened I would have deferred to a doctor instead.

      You just did. Or you are implying that vitamin doses don’t have any benefits despite admitting you know nothing about the topic (for the record, I don’t either).
