It’s almost certainly your language settings
Language is set to undetermined
Adding “English” to the language settings might help (you CTRL/CMD+Click to add another language to the list, from memory)

Yep. The language thing is a bit of a mess. The devs are aware. I think they wanted to give us options and instead gave us sharp tools to cut ourselves with.
Which means you can only see content from people who haven’t set a language tag. Anyone that has set a language tag will be hidden from you
