“The Bible” doesn’t exist. It’s a collection of disparate works by many different authors, from different cultures, over hundreds-to-thousands of years. Despite that, there is not a single “anti-homosexual” line anywhere in it. The word itself does not even exist in any of the original texts. Translations that include the word “homosexual” have deliberately mistranslated… and English translations in particular are especially guilty of this.

Again, I am not defending the many heinous things in those texts, I am pointing out how they have been abused, misused, and twisted by a corrupt political power for it’s own benefit.

But when it says to stone gay dudes to death, you have to read it in cOnTeXt! And there’s a handful of fringe theologians who think they were actually just talking about gay pedo rapists!
