I think its possible i overestimated psychology’s bigotry for the same reason as it may be having to owe up the most. bigotted direct relations with the field as a patient, seeing the bigotry in research and funding issues via close people (well atleast here in pakistan). but i do lack that knowledge and experience with other science fields so this could be biased take
what makes me hopeful is that those conversations aren’t even seen as necessary in other fields, while psych is staffed by a generation of people who realize just how important it is to respect the people your working with
