It’s a good thing because it would’ve been a shitshow anyway. With the way that ‘masculinity’ is being wielded these days, regardless of how attractive the actor was, the likes of Asmongold (who looks like a fucking humanoid rat himself) and PissDrinker and whoever else would’ve been making videos about her boobs being too small or having hair on her arms or being the wrong colour or not acting enough like a lady or some shit. And the ‘alpha’ hordes of mouth breathers would’ve been throwing them their money and circlejerking themselves into a frenzy over it.
And that poor actor that thought she had a cool role and opportunity in the acting world would’ve been getting death and rape threats and told that she’s actually a man and all sorts of other abuse.
We don’t deserve a Tomb Raider series. What we deserve an entire series of Minecraft movies where the humans can go and throw their popcorn around like apes throwing shit, and Jack Black acting as Jack Black can sing us nonsensical songs. Because that’s about the level of brain rot and general intelligence that the world is at right now. We deserve a Skibidi Toilet franchise.

Let’s be real, a skibidi toilet franchise would be significantly worse than normal skibidi toilet.
Get a good writer, and you can make a good movie or TV show out of anything.
The caveat being that there are very few good writers out there.
And even less who would be willing to work on something like this.
