I generally distrust manga from this era, since they tend to go on forever without any plot development (this is Detective Conan’s author after all), but so far this is very fun! Wit Studio knows what they’re doing with the action scenes, and the characters feel well-defined and funny without showing their age too much. I give the premiere a 4/5.

Also, I’ve decided to believe that the dads have a romantic history because they definitely give off that vibe, lol.
