On Tuesday, it was revealed by multiple outlets that TNA had released a few names backstage. One of which was former TNA Head of Talent Relations, TNA Hall of Famer, and longest reigning Knockouts World Champion, Gail Kim – and the other was TNA Head of Creative and Chief Content Officer Ariel Schnerer.
Yesterday, BQ revealed that Gail Kim butted heads with new TNA President Carlos Silva, but now he’s learned that there was another name Gail did not get along with.
-Gail and Ariel did not like each other and continued backstage turmoil led both executives to give TNA President Carlos Silva an ultimatum – that he had to pick a side.
-Instead of picking a side, Silva fired them both.
-As far as the Knockouts division, the upper management does have continued plans for them going forward and has included them heavily in creative plans – that will not change – both inside the company and NXT integration.
While more information becomes available, Bodyslam will continue to have updates on the situation.
Hopefully AEW picks up Gail and puts her in charge of the women’s division.
