    There are multiple different ways to connect your phone to your computer to send/receive text messages on your computer.

      I know, and I often use them, but they’re a complete pain compared to using something native. KDE Connect breaks very often.

          Speech-to-text is cool and all (especially as a disability aid) but every company has enough data on me already without me voluntarily giving up my voice to them.

            Another random suggestion, I recently got a PC keyboard that can pair to multiple Bluetooth devices.

            Now that I can hit a button and switch to my phone, I no longer hate SMS quite so much

            I also 3d printed a phone stand for my desk, which it turns out makes typing on it a lot nicer too
