It’s definitely more expensive, especially for owning rather than renting (median house price is like $500-600,000) . There are more affordable neighborhoods scattered around the area but yeah monthly costs are pretty high. I personally felt the trade offs were worth it for me to move, but totally understand the cost being a big issue.
