Currently, can you see #boosts on your #Pixelfed timeline?
On Pixelfed.social and other instances it seems like boosts are hidden. So you can share posts in Pixelfed and users using softwares like Mastodon or Misskey will see your boost, but from Pixelfed you won’t see them both from Pixelfed users and Fediverse users, and regardless if you activated them in the settings or use a different client. There are no official news about it so I’m trying to understand if this has something to do with Pixelfed as a software, with specific instances or specific accounts
I see plenty of content from people I don’t follow because people I do follow have boosted it
@ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone that’s good to know. From your profile I see you’re using Pixelfed.au tho, while I’m using Pixelfed.social. I also know of another instance not showing this issue so definitely it depends on the instance. I wonder if they just disabled it on .social due to the high amount of sign ups and traffic
