      Given that these look like coyotes, the awooing is followed by a cacophony of yips and hollers! It’s kinda spooky, especially if you have small dogs or cats 😬

        my dog is half coyote so she is mostly just interested

          A family member once had a half coyote. She rehomed it when she realized she couldn’t handle it properly.

        Not just spooky, it can get downright freaky. I was out rowing in a foursome in the early morning, and we hear a ruckus. All four of us thought it was preschool age kids yelling and screaming during play… at first. It was incredibly foggy that morning, cold, and dark. When we realized what we were hearing, and how many it sounded like, break time on the shore was over.
