nope! Hitachi sold their Magic Wand brand a while ago, specifically to distance themselves from the association (look how well that worked lol). Good thing too because the new owners have been actually iterating on the product ever since and those vibrators are now even more incredible than their fame let on.
For everything else though, yeah Hitachi is still a conglomerate.
Lol and the fame carried on, like when I search for “Hitachi” on Bezos Marketplace I still get the magic wands.
