First of all I intended to poke fun at the usual kind of New Year’s resolutions. But - yes - the political subtext is intentional on my part. The social and political conditions for trans and queer people, as well as women in general are deteriorating rapidly. Ultimately it will require fighting back in one way or another to preserve our human rights.
