That’s a bit of a generalization. I work for a big corpo job and they’re genuine in looking out for their LGBTQ employees. Last year I pointed out that the complementary employee gym didn’t have single-stall or gender-neutral showers, and met with the head of facilities the next week to come up with a gameplan to make the gym more inclusive. They’ve been keeping me in the loop on the construction timeline. This is far beyond their legal requirements.
We’re about to find out which companies and brands actually give a shit versus those just support gay people because it’s cool, aren’t we.
Hint, the ones that don’t actually give a shit is all of them over 1k employees.
