wanna hear about cour 3 of bleach thousand year blood war, and all the differences between the anime and the manga? or perhaps the remake of ranma 1/2?
oh uhh well the manga was written by one of the only major female manga artists at the time, she used ranma as a way to deconstruct a lot of gender tropes (through an 80’s japan lens). the main comedy in the serise is putting ranma in situations where he has to do something masculine like defend his honor, or fight to protect his fiancee, but often in ways that put him in traditionally non masculine roles.
one of the things about the show is that ranma is from a school of “anything goes martial arts” so anything from gymnastics, to tea ceremonys, to figure skating, as long as it is framed as a martial art, ranma kind of has to do it, and hilarity ensues.
another is the love octagon style of the show, where everybody has a crush on somebody else and its all a huge mess, prime shipping material if you are into that, with many vibrant characters full of personality im sure you will find one or two you adore.

as soon as I finish re-watching Bocchi
wonderful choice, might join you
Ive been meaning to watch Bocchi, it looks good. Might have to watch that once I’m done (or as a break in between arcs) binge rewatching Fairy Tail
It’s great if you like nichijou style absurdist humor or have experienced social anxiety.
I both love absurdism (and surrealism, Blood Blockade Battlefront is one of my favorite anime) and have social anxiety!
No way, blood blockade battlefront is one of my top 5 anime too!!! No one I talk to ever knows it exists (ToT)
There are dozens of us! DOZENS!!!
Never seen the first ranma 1/2. Sell me on watching the remake?
