Guillotines have been used effectively to enact change within deeply corrupt societies. It’s not about “someone (we) don’t like”. It’s about mass murder, and sending a message that people’s lives aren’t expendable so that executive bonuses and stock buybacks can be increased. It’s about the fact that working within the system as it stands currently has not worked. Just look at companies like Anthem, trying to put time limits on anaesthesia coverage.
