I mean, liberals think sensible taxes is like. Billionaires paying 0.5% of a tax every 6 years. Liberal politicians are paid by the same people conservative politicians are, and those same people ae billionaires who do not want to be taxed. Its neoliberalism! Liberals and conservatives are both fiscally conservative, liberals are only progressive socially.

There should never be a billionaire. The fact a billionaire exists perfectly demonstrates the problem of stolen labor value. The billionaire does not do millions of times the labor of a worker. Usually, he does many orders of magnitudes less labor than a worker. He is a parasite that developed a MLM system of stealing from several other smaller parasites who are doing the same thing to smaller parasites all the way down to the actual workers who are actually producing things. Labor has value in its goods, and the value of those goods belong to those who produce them. The means to produce those goods have been taken by means of the creation of private property as a concept. The idea that you can own a factory, or own an apartment building. That concept only has a use if your goal is to steal from the working class, and that’s exactly what factory owners and landlords do.

A sensible billionaire tax would be all of their income. They aren’t producing anything. They have earned nothing. Their income should be distributed to the workers they exploit, and their superfluous assets like mansions and mega-yachts should be restructured into usable infrastructure and where thats not possible mostly scrapped for their resources. Society is not governed by sensibility. If it were, no one would ever have allowed income equality to ever exist like this. Society is governed by power, and people are not equal by any definition. Having more money makes you more a human being in society. Having less money reduces you to the level of insect.
